The All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Floriculture at Agricultural Research Institute (ARI), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad was established in the year 1986-87 to carry out the inter disciplinary research on floriculture. The Floricultural Research station, Hyderabad came under the purview of Andhra Pradesh Horticultural University from June 2007 after the separation from ANGRAU which was renamed later as Dr. YSRHU during the year 2011.
