The turmeric research station was established in 2009-10 and is located in Kammarpally village, Nizamabad district of Telangana state. It is situated at 78o 26’ 17’’ longitude, 18o 49’ 10” altitude of 319.334 m above sea level. It is having 30 acres of land and doing the research on turmeric and ginger crops This research station is under ICAR- AICRP on Spices (IISR, Kozhikode, Kerala)
